Hello Muffins!  My name is Tyffanie Morgan and I am a Queen!  That’s right, a Drag Queen in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.  I have been living and working in this little town of ours for quite some time.  I have performed for many years at our local gay bars, ReelOut Queer Film & Video Festivals, Kingston Pride, weddings, and anywhere there was a need for a little bit of wigs, feathers, and shoes!

I’ve had my little website here for little over a year.  I had previous sites on other free web-hosting spaces such as Geocities.  However, they weren’t meeting my needs and ambitions.  That’s right!  Ambitions baby!

I wasn’t using this space to its full potential until I got my new Mac.  I’m able to incorporate many of my online dealings right from my own site.  This is so exciting.  Pictures, contacts, and blogs are all under one simple roof now.  Mind you, I won’t give up all the other sites I am involved in.

What else?  Oh, what I do!  I started off performing (lip synch) to circuit type music.  I can still remember my first song performed was “Conte Patrio” which, I think, was remixed by Peter Rauhoffer.  This was back in the year 2000.  Yes, I’ve been around awhile.  I later began diversifying and doing some more traditional drag songs such as cabaret and disco songs.  I also attempted to do an impersonation of my favorite lady, Stevie Nicks!  Love her music!  And everyone loves “Landslide”.  I love Annie Lennox, too!  Pre and post Eurythmics.  Oh goodness, I can go on and on.

In the drag tradition, I took my drag mother’s last name.  Her name is Jas Morgan.  She is a huge character in our little city and it is unfortunate to loose her to Toronto.  My family consists of sisters Ricki Morgan and Savannah Morgan presently with many other sisters that have since retired from the scene.  Extended family is big.  The kingston drag community has many connections to Toronto and Ottawa and Montreal drag families.  Very strong connections to Dixie Landers and her clan.  Dixie was like the fabulous aunt who taught you how to mambo.

Well, that’s enough of that.  If you want a better understanding of how my schitzo brain works, just check out my blog and do a google search for Tyffanie Morgan.  You never know what might be out there!
